Project Name:     American Foreign Policy Council Building
Location:     Washington, DC
Description:     This is an office addition and renovation to an historic building on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. The existing building will be updated with new windows, doors and HVAC. An addition will be placed at the rear of the lot and connected to the old building with an interior light court that is four stories tall. This central space will serve as a gathering space at the lower and 2nd level where a glass floor allows light to continue to pass downward while allowing the space to function as the office library. The building is approximately 5,000 square feet of office. The cost is approximately $1.5 million.

Project Name:   Tunnel at Tysons
Location:     Tysons Corner, Virginia
Description:     Tysons Tunnel is an alternative to the proposed elevated Metro Line through Tysons. The tunnel is designed with four underground stations that are created using the Large Bore Tunneling Machine. This new technology was developed in Europe creating a large diameter tunnel, large enough that the stations are part of the excavation. This method saves huge amounts of costs on the project and keeps surface disruption to a minimum. The stations are designed to bring light all the way down to the platform entrances by placing a large skylight over the escalator entrance on the surface. This total cost of this project is approximately $2.3 billion.
